After breakfast, travel with your guide to Vietnam Golf & Country Club, the first 36-hole golf club in Vietnam. Set amongst 300 hectares of woodland, Vietnam Golf & Country Club has two championship great 18-hole golf courses. The West course was opened in 1994 and designed by Taiwanese architect Chen King Shih. The East course was designed in 1997 by Lee Trevino, six-time Major Champion Winner. It has long been recognized as Vietnam’s premier golf club and was voted as “One of the Asia Best Golf Courses”. Enjoy your first 18-hole round of golf in Vietnam.

After golf, transfer back to the city and relax until an evening street food and Vintage Vespa tour. Sit on the back of a scooter as your guide takes you around Saigon’s pulsing streets, stopping at tasty food stalls and cafes to try the best of what southern cuisine and nightlife has to offer.

Take a short drive out of Saigon this morning for a second round at Twin Doves Golf Club. Said to be the first private golf club in southern Vietnam, the 27-hole international championship-level golf course features three woodlands and lakes-styled courses, named Luna, Sole, and Stella. While the Luna course is characterized by rolling small hills contoured by natural forests, the Sole Course plays around a blue lake featuring island greens and beach bunkers. The most exciting of the three nines, the Stella course, has its holes flanked by creeks and trees, demanding accurate shots since the greens are multi-tiered and guarded by water hazards. 

Head back to your hotel and rest up before spending an incredible evening at Saigon Opera House for the incredible A O Show by Lune Production, also known as the Cirque du Soleil of Vietnam. Enjoy a night of theatrical visual arts including contemporary dance, acrobatics, and bamboo work amidst the beauty of the theater's French style décor and live music in the air. End the night with dinner at a local restaurant.

Experience the beauty of Long Thanh Golf Club during your third round of golf today! Situated just about 36km away from Saigon, the Club has been constructed on a plateau, offering superb panoramic views in every direction. Designed by the renowned American-based firm Golf Plan, the Club has two championship 18-hole courses: the Hill Course and the Lake Course. Each offers panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. Each hole has its own characteristic shape and unique view that offers a wide variety and separate challenge to both novice and professional. 

The afternoon is free at leisure to explore the city independently. 

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Leave the hustle and bustle of Saigon and transfer by van to the lush countryside and floating world of the Mekong Delta. Start with a visit of Cai Be floating market, followed by a cruise to Tan Phong Island where you can cycle through small villages on the island. Ride along the pathways and visit local families making traditional products such as handicraft items made from water hyacinth, roofs made from palm leaves, and hammocks made from coconut ropes.

Then, sit down for a lunch filled with Mekong Delta specialties in a typical Mekong orchard. Make sure to take a walk around the orchard, sipping cups of tea while listening to traditional music (đờn ca tài tử) in an ancient house. Return to the boat and continue cruising on the Mekong River, witnessing everyday life in the region passing by while sampling local fresh fruits. You’ll make stops at local family-run businesses producing rice wine, pop rice, coconut candy, and rice paper, with the final visit at a brick kiln to observe how bricks are made in a traditional style. Disembark the cruise at Vinh Long City and return to Ho Chi Minh City in the early evening.

Learn a little bit of history this morning with a walking tour of the city’s most historic attractions, such as the Reunification Hall (formerly known as the Presidential Palace), and the beautifully preserved colonial architecture of the Saigon Opera House, City Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Old Saigon Post Office. 

Pause for lunch at a local restaurant and then depart Ho Chi Minh City on a three-hour drive to Mui Ne, a former fishing village developed into a popular beachside getaway. Check-in to your beachside hotel and enjoy your first evening with your toes in the sand.

Enjoy breakfast on the beach this morning, gazing at the ocean before heading out to Sea Links Golf & Country Club. The architects, Ronald Fream and Golfplan Company, incorporated the area’s wild sand dunes and heavy undulations into the greens and fairways, making it as challenging as possible with uneven curves and tricky holes. So much in fact, that the course has been voted as Asia’s most challenging links-style courses. Highlights of the course include the 7^th hole, a stunning downhill dogleg left par 4 overlooking Mui Ne Bay. 

Once you’ve finished, the rest of the day is free at leisure to explore Mui Ne independently.

Hit the fields at NovaWorld Phan Thiet Golf Club, the first and only PGA golf course in the whole of Vietnam. Designed by the Great White Shark himself, Greg Norman, PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet offers two 18-hole championship golf courses: The Ocean and the Garden.

The Ocean Course is a stunning 7,400-yard championship-level layout offering panoramic views over the East Sea. All 18 holes wind between a mix of parkland and links-style terrain, with stylishly rugged bunkers lined with native grass that punctuate the undulating fairways. 

Measuring 7,200 yards with a par of 72, the Garden Course is designed to bring endless fun to players of all levels and acts as the exclusive training center for PGA students in Vietnam. Inspired by the ‘Sandbelt’ region of Melbourne, Australia, the course’s bunkers are integrated on the edges of the green complexes. 

Overnight in Mui Ne.

Set your alarm for a 4:30 am wake-up call this morning and take a short drive to catch the sunrise at Mui Ne’s most popular attraction, the vast White Sand Dunes (Bau Trang). One of the Southeast Asia’s only desert areas, the picturesque scenery includes windswept dunes reminiscent of the Sahara desert, including a miniature desert oasis including a large deep blue lake with tall grass and lotus blossoms. Have some morning exercise climbing up and down the dunes or perhaps rent an ATV to get a burst of adrenaline this morning!  

Rest with a nourishing breakfast back at the hotel before gathering your things and departing along the coastal road for a 3-hour scenic drive through quiet villages to Ho Tram, your final destination for your trip!

Wake up to the sounds of the ocean and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading to your final round of 18-hole game at the Bluffs Ho Tram Strip. Like the PGA Novaland in Phan Thiet, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip is another masterpiece from Greg Norman, capturing the essence of a true links course while maximizing the natural landscapes of sand dunes and dramatic ocean views. Often cited as the best golf course in Vietnam, The Bluffs is a highlight of any golf holiday in Southeast Asia. Greg Norman put it best when he said that The Bluffs is “one of the most special golf experiences in the world”.

Take the whole day to spend as you please, whether its laying on the beach, taking another round of golf, or exploring the surrounding area. For those who like to go, go, go, we suggest checking out the nearby Minera Hot Springs Binh Chau, where the natural pools filled with minerals beneficial to the bones and skin tissue are naturally heated to around 37°C. Soaking in the warm water is a traditional type of medicine that locals have used for centuries to improve blood circulation, relax muscles, and soothe the nerves.

Enjoy this morning at leisure until check out at noon, returning to Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your onward flight home or next destinations.

PAYMENTS

A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total booking is required within three days from the date of confirmation. The balance payment is due at 45 days prior to tour commencement date. For bookings made less than 45 days, full payment is required. Bookings will be cancelled if payments are not received by the due date(s).

Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit cards. In addition to the total payable amount, credit card payments will incur a merchant fee of 2.5% for MasterCard and Visa, 3% for American Express. Any bank charges and merchant fees must be covered by the customer. 

CANCELLATIONS

Confirmed bookings must be cancelled by the party leader in writing (by email) and this will only be effective once the written cancellation is confirmed by ATA Holidays. Cancellation by the party leader will be subject to the following cancellation fees from the date the written cancellation is received:

• more than 45 days prior to tour date - 10% of total cost

• between 31 and 45 days prior to tour date - 25% of total cost

• between 16 and 30 days prior to tour date - 50% of total cost

• within 15 days prior to tour date or “no show” - 100% of total cost.

AMENDMENTS

Any amendments to confirmed bookings must be requested by the party leader in writing (by email). Whilst we will endeavor to assist, we cannot guarantee that requests will be met. If we can make the requested change, you will be provided with a quote detailing any additional costs, whether incurred due to your amendments, imposed by a Third-Party Travel Provider, or our amendment fees. In all cases, the following amendment fees shall apply:

• If amendments are made more than 45 days prior to scheduled tour date: the first amendment is free of charge. From the second amendment: a charge of A$100 per amendment for a short trip (less than 7 nights) or A$200 per amendment for a long journey (7 nights or more).

• If amendments are made within 45 days prior to scheduled tour date: the above standard cancellation fees will apply, and full price will apply to new travel arrangements.

We will not charge any cancellation/amendment fees if it is due to a breach by us of any of our obligations or due to our fault; or if the Third-Party Travel Provider amends your booking through no fault of the customer.

COVID-19 RELATED POLICIES

If you can’t travel as a direct result of Covid-19 related matters, ATA Holidays will:

• allow you to change the dates of your holiday; or

• offer you a credit for another holiday, minus any unrecoverable costs imposed by Third-Party Travel Providers; or 

• give you a refund, minus any unrecoverable costs imposed by Third-Party Travel Providers. 

This policy is only valid if the ability to travel is beyond your control. You are required to provide reasonable documentation confirming that your inability to travel is due to Covid-19 related matters. For cancellations or modifications due to reasons not related to Covid-19, our standard policies as stipulated in our terms and conditions apply.
