Vinpearl Golf Léman has officially opened the South 9 for play, marking an important milestone in the continued development of the golf experience at the club.
The opening of the South 9 welcomes golfers to experience a fresh dimension of the course, bringing a new character to the venue and an eagerly anticipated challenge for the golfing community in southern Vietnam.
While the North Course has long been recognized for its thick, demanding rough that requires careful control and accuracy, the South Course presents a completely different design philosophy. A defining feature of the new layout is a network of natural waste bunkers stretching along the fairways and surrounding the greens. These rugged sandy areas create visually striking terrain where even slightly misdirected tee shots can quickly find trouble.

Unlike traditional bunkers, waste bunkers function as natural hazards that demand both technical skill and strategic thinking. Once a ball settles into these areas, each recovery shot becomes a true test of precision, touch, and the golfer’s ability to manage uneven sandy lies.
Water hazards and strategically positioned features remain a signature element throughout the course, requiring players to carefully consider every decision from tee to green. The result is a layout that delivers rounds that are both challenging and engaging for golfers of all skill levels.
The launch of the South 9 not only adds a fresh dimension to Vinpearl Golf Léman but also opens a new chapter for golfers seeking distinctive course experiences in Vietnam.
The remaining nine holes of the South Course are currently in the final stages of development and are expected to open later in 2026. Once completed, Vinpearl Golf Léman will offer a full 36-hole golf destination, further strengthening its position as one of Vietnam’s premier golf venues.
